My New Crocs

  • May. 11th, 2008 at 9:29 PM

So the other week I finally relented and went to the Croc Shop to buy Jacob some Crocs.  I have resisted getting him any because I reckon they just look, well, kinda ordinary...  But practicality finally won out and so I went shopping for him.  Got him some nice navy blue ones and they are so quick and easy to get on and off which is exactly what I was hoping for.

However, while I was there, I spotted a pair for myself.  OMG!!  Am I really going to buy and wear some Crocs???  I never would have thought it.  So now I am a complete hypocrite and am loving wear my new pair of shoes.  They are so comfy.  But they aren't like traditional Crocs...these are a bit different.

They aren't too daggy are they???

They look better than the traditional style of crocs. I'm like you, not a huge fan, although I've never tried them. I prefer the style you have than the normal ones though, which seem to be on every other person's feet during summer.

And really, as long as you find them comfy, that's the main concern.

Are you giving me grief over owning some Crocs? Huh? Huh?? Naaaah, surely not!! LOL!! They are good for hanging around in and being casual - and they are super comfy. Although I'm not sure if the comfy=confidence=sexy equation works in this case!

Hmm, what to say? I think they are okay for around home or the beach etc. but you know? they remind me a little of those Masseuse sandals that were around in the eighties..:)

Hi D! Yep - they are a lot like the old Maseur sandals. I never owned a pair of them cause they always hurt my feet and I could never break a pair in. These ones are comfy as soon as you put them on :)

And don't worry - I won't wear them out in public (except maybe for short trips to the shops. Hee hee!)

lol I hate crocs. Think they may be fine when at the beach or swimming but not for all the time, bad for your feet etc. These ones don't look like crocs, more like Masseuse thingamy's... So maybe go with "they may be crocs but you don't like the clog type sandals" :)

I know - me no likey Crocs either! But these are really nice to wear and as I get older (and I hate to admit it), but comfort rules over fashion.

And yes they are like the maseur sandals but not as hurty on the soles of your feet :)
