The other day I went on a small shopping splurge. One of the items I bought were some tracky daks (tracksuit pants). Now, they are a little different to my current ones as these are hipsters - which I was in full knowledge of at the time of purchase.
I do have some hipster jeans which I really like and find really comfy (except I am continually hoisting them up, like an oldie does) so the hipster thing isn't new to me. But I have discovered that the problem with hipster tracky daks is that little bit of space between the bottom of your top and the top of your bottoms...it gets bloody cold!
I mean the tracky daks are there to get you warm and when there is that large (in may case) patch of skin on your back that is continually exposed, it seems to defeat the purpose?!?! I will continue to endeavour with them, but I might have to get a longer shirt that covers up what the old pants used to ;)

I do hate having to hitch up hipster pants though.
Now you've got another excuse for a shopping splurge - to find tops to cover that gap.
:)
I saw on the fashion week stories on the news last week that highwaisted pants are back. I"m not sure what is worse - high waist or hipster - why can't they just make normal jeans that sit on your waist.
